Preventing the spread of red imported fire ants
We are not in a RIFA zone.
We provide an area freedom certificate with all interstate loads.
Although not required by law, as a precautionary measure all of our plants are potted in a mix containing Maxguard granules (Bifenthrin) to prevent the spread of RIFA.
Delivery
We send plants to most parts of Queensland and New South Wales, and some parts of Victoria.
Our customers include large and small retail stores, councils, botanic gardens and parks, and those involved in the commercial and domestic landscape industry.
We're happy to use any freight company of your choice, provided they will pick up from our nursery or we can freight stock to their depot.
Freight companies we use include
Plant Delivery Services (PDS) - many parts of Queensland from the Gold Coast to Townsville and inland as far as Emerald and Chinchilla. PDS pick up from us twice per week.
Maney Transport - Roma, Charleville, & Goondiwindi
Freeman Freighters - Cairns, Sydney, Melbourne
Lorries Transport - Many locations including Toowoomba, East Coast - Newcastle, Noosa, Gympie
Pots per tray
Most of our plants are in 125mm, 140mm, 165mm, 200mm, 250mm, 300mm or 400mm pots.
Per tray we fit:
15 x 125mm
12 x 140mm
6 x 160mm or 165mm
Pots per pallet
16 x 300mm pots will fit on the base of a pallet.
They can often be double stacked with a further 6 x 300mm or 9 x 250mm. Occasionally you get some leaf damage during transport from double stacking, but many customers still request double stacking to reduce freight costs.
