You won't find any tulips here. Our gorgeous bulbs are selected from Australia, South Africa and South America and will flower and multiply effortlessly in the warmer parts of Australia. We are continually assessing new bulbous plants to add to our collection, so keep checking our site for unusual, striking and easy to grow bulbs.
We take a large selection of collectors bulbs to the Queensland Garden Expo at Nambour each July, so if you're looking for something really unusual, perhaps Scadoxus pole-evansii, Scilla maderensis, Cyrtanthus sanguineus, Worsleya procera, or a particular named Hippeastrum hybrid, please come along. We'd love to see you there. Unfortunately its not possible for us to list all of our bulbs on this website which is why the expo is ideal.
The plants pictured here are Scadoxus multiflorus- one of many plants that goes by the common names of paintbrush lily or blood lily. We list these on our website when we have sufficient quantities available and we have them available for sale at the Queensland Garden Expo. They flower in December. The ones pictured are at the end of flowering, so their flowers are faded from their usual bright red.
