These Clivia are about 1 - 2 years old. They have green bases, meaning that they lack the orange pigment. Each one has about 3- 5 leaves.
We only have a few in stock at the moment.
They were grown from seed produced by improved Chubbs Peach Clivia plants, which are sometimes referred to as a Group 1 Peach. Some of the original Chubbs Peach Clivia had beautiful coloured flowers, but the shape, size and number of flowers was inadequate so they were often crossed with better quality yellow Clivias to improve them. With this batch of Clivia, what this means is that you get better quality peach flowers, however there is up to a 25% chance that plants will flower yellow instead of peach. The plant you will receive has not flowered yet, so the photo is indicative of the peach colour you can expect, as it is one of the plants from this cross in flower.
Most of these plants are likely to flower when they reach four years old, although some have been flowering at 3 years old.
Clivias are perfect plants for shady areas, either in pots or planted directly in garden beds. They tolerate hot or cold temperatures, but should be protected from frost or hot direct sunshine.
