Most of our retail orders are sent with Australia Post. The plants are bare-rooted so they travel better in the post and are lighter.
After you have selected an item to buy by clicking on the Add to Cart button, you can check the postage cost:
1. Click on View Cart (top right hand side)
2. Click on Estimate shipping & tax (under the subtotal for your order)
We reserve the right to add on a small postage & handling fee to cover part of our costs of preparing and packing your order and getting it transported to the post office.
Specialised plant freight
For large orders, we can arrange plant freight with a specialised plant transport company like PDS or Freeman Freighters. These companies transport ornamental plants in their pots to your door. There is a minimum charge of $60 (South East Queensland) and prices are significantly higher for other areas so we can give you a quote. As an example, 7 trays of plants to Sydney is usually about $170. You are also welcome to arrange and pay for your own freight with your preferred freight company.
In most cases plant freight is not economical unless you are buying about six trays or more. However, the plants do arrive in excellent condition in their pots so we do not have to send them bare-rooted as we do with our Australia Post orders.
